What Causes Sleeplessness When Diagnosed With Depression?

Help please, in currently taking mertazapine and have been for 4 months for depression take anywhere between 15 mil and 30 mil at night im also taking 3.5 zopilclone(bought over internet doctor wont prescribe me them) there not working I cant sleep properly its totally ruining my life,previous to that I was on citalopram for 10 years,realy need to find an anti depressent that would suit me have you got any in mind I can ask my doctor for my depression is totaly linked to my lack of sleep thanks justin age 46

Behaviour therapy is helpful for depression case. This therapy alter your thoughts and decrease negative thoughts. Do some relaxation exercise like yoga and meditation is helpful to you. Read motivational articles. Do regular exercise and take well balanced diet. Stay connected with your friends and family. Avoid stress and anxiety. Fix your sleeping and wake up time. Take warm milk at night time. Avoid tea and coffee at night time. Consult a psychiatrist for further treatment.
