What Causes Slow Fetus Development During Pregnancy?

hai. am 8 month pregnant , my last visit with doctor said ur baby growth is slow, dr written it as IUGR, am soo worried before that last month i went for scan on that time they did t said anything , now they prescribed L-argine sachet. my baby will be good know. am a working women i need to stop work.

Hi

There are lot of factors which can slow the growth of the baby like high blood pressure etc. Sometimes it may happen without any cause as well. The basic reason is that the baby is not getting enough nutrients through the placenta. Resting 2 hrs in a day in left lateral position may help. Other than that I don't advise you to stop working if it's not very stressful.
