Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Small Bowel Movement, Inflamed Knee And Canker Sores?
I am experiencing multiple symptoms that I am concerned about. I should inform you that I have been on levothyroxine for about 5 years. Currently I am taking 75 mcg. The symptoms I am experiencing is Fewer bowel movements, inflamed knee, and just recently canker sores and a pain in my left side (below my rib cage) Any advise or recommendations?
These signs and symptoms are not directly related to each other. The bowel movements are usually related to the thyroid function and especially it it's function is low. You should do TSHblood test. The others I am not sure. Better for you to see your doctor for the above.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
