Hello i'm 16 years old i have a small lump near my left testicle. i found i had this about 2 years ago when i first got it i had very bad pains in my lower back and on top of that i found a little lump and i could barly walk for a week. it felt as if a 10 pound weight was straped to my testicle i had to walk with my legs spread far apart. after that it kinda of went away. and now i'm getting discomfert when i walk i get a aching pain in my left testicle that i can kinda of feel in my groin and my lower back aches also.. but i have started to work out lately alot pushing myself for wrestling and now i get the aching in my left testicle. please help i think i may have a hernia and i got wrestling season starting in about a month let me now some answers please and thank you.
1.The history and symptoms suggest there is inflammatory changes in the left testis. 2.In this case if you are mu patient i would have examine the testis first and any suspicion, i would have ask for a ultrasound examination. 3.That will give me a clear picture of your testis - weather there are any inflammatory changes, how is the blood supply, presence of any lump, collection, chord and vessels condition can be assessed. 4.Possibilities of hernia can also be ruled out during scan with cough and pressure reflex. ( as in your case its possible cause) 5.So suggest to get examined and treated accordingly. Good luck.
