What Causes Social Anxiety After Having Protected Intercourse?

Hello I just wanted to say I had sex yesterday we used a condom but how do I go the right was of protecting my self I no I can go in the the pharmacy to get contriseption pills and so on but I am really scared and nervous to go and get some my self I have really bad anxiety and don t really like talking to new people face to face And I m really scared to make an appointment with my doctor/ consultant as I don t want my family to know I m sexually active

Anxiety is a normal response to fear of getting pregnant after a first sex even after using a barrier contraceptive. No contraceptive gives full proof protection. Its always better to use 2 or 3 contraceptive for safety as it decreases the failure.
First calm your anxiety by not thinking much about the incidence.
Otherwise you can have emergency contraceptive pill i.e Progestogen and Levonorgestrel (ipill). Effective when taken before 72 hrs of mating.(Earlier is better).
