What Causes Soft And Sticky Stools?

I am having lots of soft, sticky stools that are greasy and stick to the toilet. It used to be just some stools. Now it is all of them. 9 years ago, I was diagnosed with IBS after stool tests (had an Amoeba in 2002), lactose intolerance test and a Colonoscopy. My stools are getting worse. I have ulcerative Colitis, Celiac and Colon cancer in my family history. I had a blood test for Celiac last year to check again and it didn't indicate that I have the disease. My aunt said hers was diagnosed with a colonoscopy. Is this normal and still indicative of IBS or should I see the doctor again. Also, I seem to have pain at times near my vaginal area after some of these stools and some pain off and on in my lower left side.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Soft sticky stools with history of amebiasis and history of ulcerative colitis, cancer in family indicate that you needs thorough investigations.
I would suggest you the following:
Tests of stool for three consecutive days as this can give lots of information.
CT scan of abdomen helps to rule out inflammation of bowel, diverticulitis, cancer, lymph nodes and many other diseases.
Colonoscopy and biopsy helps a lot for exact diagnosis.
If any disease is found, get it treated properly and you may get cured.
If all the investigations are normal or nonspecific, get treated as IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
Identify the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance your problems and stop them.
Control of stress and anxiety may be the controlling factor.
