What Causes Sore Breasts Along With Lumps On Areola Post Removal Of Implanon?
My implanon was expired for 3 months. I had unprotected sex. I have not had a period the entire time I was on it. I got my implanon removed but I am constantly feeling hungry and my boobs hurt a little. I have also noticed these bumps forming around my nipples. Could I be pregnant?
The following are few probable causes of breast pain or soreness: 1) Hormonal changes like during periods or in early pregnancy 2) Breast pain can be a sign of early pregnancy 3) Lack of proper breast support 4) Usage of medications like chlorpromazine, digitalis, methyldopa, diuretics 5) Breast infection 6) Breast abscess or swelling filled with pus 7) Presence of breast lumps
You can go for home pregnancy test once to know if you are pregnant. The following are few tips to decrease breast pain: 1) Eliminate caffeine 2) Eat a low-fat diet 3) Reduce salt intake 4) Avoid smoking 5) Take OTC pain relief medicine like Ibuprofen or Naproxen.
