What Causes Sore Lump On Anus?

hi, a few days ago i had a very sore lump on my anus, it was sore to touch and sometimes when moving, a day or two later the pain was alot better then i noticed some blood when wiping the area, the next day the lump had gone down a fair bit but there was more blood. tonight i had to pass a large "spoil" and in excruciating pain alot of blood came out of it. it is still bleeding to a degree and only hurts when tensing the muscles. please help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

the "lump" in your anus is possibly a hemorrhoid based from your description. it is best if you consult with a general surgeon when it comes to this concern for management (medical and possibly surgical if indications are found). watch out for the recurrence of bleeding. if the pain is persistent and bothering you, a consult is needed. if you've constipation, it is best if you'll temporarily be on high fiber diet.

hope this helps.

good day!!
