What Causes Sore Throat And Fever Along With Dizziness?

my daughter has a history of strep throat and bad sore throats but had her tonsils removed in July, she has had a fever bad sore throat, white spots, bad neck pain, dizziness and pain when breathing deep, and a headache for 3 days, wondering if its viral, strep or something worse?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat and fever along with dizziness which seems to be due to bacterial infection and due to respiratory tract infection. You should take paracetamol to prevent fever along with combination of decongestants and multivitamin tablet. Sip on warm water whole day and avoid spicy and sharp food. Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days. Doing yoga and meditation will be very helpful. If your symptoms keeps on persisting the visit ENT specialist once and get complete examination done. You should get blood and throat swab tests done. Start treatment after complete examination. Drink warm milk with pinch of turmeric powder.
