What Causes Sore Throat And Ulcers In Mouth?

I have ulcers and sores on the right hand side of my gums and mouth. I also have ear ache and sore throat, and the right hand side of my neck is swollen, with a lump on it, which is causing me some pain in general head movement but is also tender when I touch it, could this be throat cancer?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain it seems to be a severe throat infection leading to sore throat and inflamed lymph nodes in the neck.
It can be bacterial or viral in nature while at times it is viral infection with a secondary bacterial infection.
The sores on gums and mouth are apthous ulcers and are also secondary to infection..
You can take a course of antibiotics like Cephelexin or Azithromycin for 5 days, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Naproxen or Diclofenac potassium, do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations.
Avoid spicy and chilled foods.
Throat lozenges can relieve..
For sores in mouth gargle with a numbing mouthwash for pain relief, take a multivitamin tablet daily, soda bicarb gargles can also help..
