Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Their symptoms are suggestive of an upper airway infection. It may be a viral infection or a bacterial infection. If the situation persists, I recommend consulting with their doctor for a physical exam, a chest X-ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
