My son is seven yrs old and very active in sports, every once in a while( maybe once a week he will all of a sudden complain abt a sore throat and then vomit and turn very pale and sometimes turns green. After is vomits he is hungry and I give him a piece of fruit and he is just fine, no stomach ache, fever, nausea.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat, fever and nausea which could be due to streptococcal infection leading to strep throat. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take throat lozanges and do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication Levocetrizine. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get blood and throat swab test done and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
