The raised C reactive protein value is non specific inflammatory marker used to monitor the response to therapy during follow up rather than diagnostic approach. The sore throat, fever and pain, swelling shoulder indicates possible inflammation of vicinity structures most likely. It is the co relation of serial numbers of CRP over a period of time, which helps to distinguish particular therapy effectiveness at its best.
