What Causes Sore Throat,constant Headaches And Hiccups?

A friend of mine and her son came over and he sounded like he had the hooping cough the next day my son, boyfriend and my aunt were sick they all had different symptoms. My boyfriend has a sore throat, upset stomache, head ache and non stop hiccups for hours what could be the cause? Nothing stops them what can we try?

Hello,

He may be developed viral pharyngitis. Inflammation of nerves may cause diaphragm contraction lead to hiccups. So, isolate the infected person.

Use salt water gargling and water vapor inhalation. Use antipyretic drugs for fever and headache and tablet Liofen twice if hiccups are heavy.

If symptoms do not improved, please consult your physician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
