What Causes Sore Throat, swollen Lymph Nodes And Headache?

hello, it all started with a sore throat, lymph nodes swollen, a headache, and a good amount of phlem buildup. 2 days or so later, all those symptoms subsided, but now I am left with a painful bump on the roof of my mouth and one on the side of my gum. What is this??

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, headache and phlegm formation can be due to bacterial or viral pharyngitis and the bump over the roof of mouth and gum can be apthous ulcers or can be abscess that is formed secondary to infection and inflammation..

As other symptoms have subsided you need not to worry and you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash to relieve pain..
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Motrin or Aleve..
Do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy and hard foods and take a soft diet..
Sip on plenty of warm water..
Gargle with antiseptic mouthwash to prevent infection..

In case if there is no improvement in a week consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
