What Causes Soreness And Tightness In Throat With A History Of Strep?

I have had a sore throat and it feels as if there is a lump in the back of my throat but only on one side for the past 3 days and my throat starts tightening up when I breath in through my mouth. I have had strep before but I m female and I m only 12 could this be throat cancer or just a sore throat?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, two possibilities are there as long as your symptoms are concern one is allergic condition and second is hyperacidity and these both can be managed all together, with anti-histamine like Tab Loratadine twice in day and Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day else it may not be malignancy and no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
