What Causes Soreness Behind My Vulva Leading To Sore Throat?
Behind my uvula is very sore. It feels like there are little sores and like its swollen on the back side, but theres no way to see them since it's p the area behind and up from my Uvula. It's very pain ful. I've had a sore throat for a week, lost my voice and then it came back and now this. Could a dry house cause this?
You might be having stomatitis. You need to take multivitamins & gargles with tetracycline. If still problem persist consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis & treatment plan.

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Praveen G's Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM, Sore throat is frequently caused by virus which usually resolves in 4-5 days with the help of oral NSAIDs and lots of warm liquids. If you develop fever or enlarged lymph glands and soreness in the area of uvula, it can also be Strept throat infection(bacterial infection). This requires antibiotics. Diagnosis cannot be provided based on this history ,a thorough evaluation by your physician is required. I would advise you to follow these measures 1. Salt water gargling 2. Oral NSAIDs 3. Oral Antihistamines Thank you.
