What Causes Sour Taste, Lack Of Appetite And Light Headedness?

I got a very bad chest cold last Friday and I have developed a sour taste, no appetite, and at times feeling light headed and out of sorts. I have been using a vaporizer every night and taking Robitussin an Ricola cough drops. I have mechanical heart valve which limits what I can take.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,

a chest cold can take 1 week, sometimes up to 2 weeks. You should keep taking over the counter cold medicine like nasal spray, ibuprofen or paracetamol, drink a lot of tea and do some inhaling with hot steam and take a rest. If it doesn't get better at all you should see your md so he will check that there is no bacterial complication like tonsillitis, bronchitis or pneumonia which can be an indication to perscribe an antibiotic.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
