What Causes Sour Throat And Chest Pain?

I have a phantom salty taste and tiny amount of chest pain? The salt taste is really strong, and I ve had it over a week. Is my lung infected? Also I keep an aquatic turtle tank in my room is it possible I have a bacteria infection in my lungs from the vapors? YYYY@YYYY

I can understand your concern.
No need to worry much for lung infection.
Possibility of Upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is more.
So drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
Take antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs.
Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Don't worry, you will be alright in 5 days with all these.
If not improving then get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
