What Causes Speech Delay In Infants?

Hi doctor . My 38 month old son delaying speech. He only utter single or half word like plea for plane, catty for cat, do do for dog. He can t combine two words , he is an active baby with normal hearing , good understanding and better reaction. Please suggest some alternative.

it can be due to oral impairment of palate tongue and vocal chord. can also be developmental problemani9nrfant should speak in 11 to 18monthsdeafness should be checked. at time can be motor dysfunction.
