What Causes Spitting Up Blood After Getting A Hit On Eye?
I got hit in the eye and was spitting up blood; the area around my eye, sinuses and side of my nose went numb for a few hours. I went to the ER and they said corneal abrasion (specifically swelling over my entire eye surface), but they did not check my face or take any x-rays. I am still spitting up bright red blood a few days later and feel pain/pressure when I look up or to the side. Could this be internal bleeding somewhere or a fracture?
I understand your concern it appears as you have some traumatic lesion either in nose or sinuses. But there is fair chance that your lower orbital margin may be involve in injury of eye and this may lead to bleeding in your maxillary sinus which ultimately drains into nose. blood from nose may go to throat and thus comes out in sputum.

This may be confirmed by C.T.Scan of paranasal sinuses. Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
