What Causes Sporadic Episodes Of Depression And High Motivation?
I needed an advice on if this is something related to medical stuff or not. I have been experiencing very weird emotions. Some days I am all energetic and could do anything sometimes i take unnecessary risk and while studying i feel like an Einstein, i have all these creative ideas and unable to sleep and it feels like i don t even miss sleeping my mind races and can t stop. While other days i wake up and i just feel like i am done with life so depressed(sometimes suicidal) i cant even go to the school,it s been happening a lot lately.I get angry and just take a break from life(distance myself from everyone).
It can possibly be related to a medical disorder called manic depression where the mood swings from depression to mania (high energy and mood) but you would have to be screened to determine if this is present.
It would be best to be assessed , initially by your GP and , if necessary by a psychologist or psychiatrist. Mental health is very important and can impact on all areas of life.
If a emotional or mental issue is diagnosed treatment would involve counselling. Medication may or may not be needed for a short period of time
I hope this helps
