General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, alteration in color of menstrual bleeding as pink, brown, light red indicates hormone alteration with or without bacterial or fungal infection most likely. Possibility of implantation bleeding is very less likely. However, a swab test of the cervical region is mandatory to plan out probable microbiological diagnosis and further discussion points.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
