What Causes Spotting And Brownish Discharge After A Miscarriage?
Hi I have a problem that is stressing me out now... I last had my normal menstrual period 26 March I tested pregnancy test one week ago and it was positive now 3 days ago I started having spotting bleeding that has beproprogressively getting worse, but I only just use one pad a day...Yesterday I did a sonar and they said they don t see any miscarriage but it still either too early to see any gestational sack... Today I am having intermittent intense pain and still spotting and I am worried if I am losing this pregnancy or what? Today is my third day of spotting Brown discharge sometimes bright red
As the definite content is not visualized in the discharge, I would not consider this case as a sure instance of miscarriage. The spotting and brown discharge can be related to vaginal infection, hormone changes induced cervical changes or else. A culture swab of the discharge is highly recommended for best management guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
