What Causes Spreading Red Bumps On The Stomach, chest And Arm?

My 23 month old has had a rash for over a month now. It appeared the day after going for a well check & shots. It started as 1 single line of red bumps. It spread all over her left side of her chest, stomach, back, arm & leg. She complained of her belly hurting. I took her back to the Dr a week or 2 ago & he said it was probably viral, gave an antibiotic & cream. The cream seemed to be helping, but it still gets worse some days. Any ideas?

Hello,

Viral infection induced skin lesions. The steroid prescription with oral medications with or without anti viral medications will help to recover faster. Control of blood sugar is also vital in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
