Hello and welcome to HCM!

It's a very good thing making a healthy lifestyle, having vegetables and fruits in you diet, do physical activity, and reduce salt. This helps a lot in controlling high BP but sometimes is not enough. In this cases medicines are considered. If you are taking already a drug for your BP and it still remains high, this means that your doctor (better a cardiologist) should change it with another drug or make a combined scheme ( two or more anti hypertensive drugs). He will tell you the doses how you will take them and you should have frequent contacts until your BP is normalized and remains stable.

I hope you will be fine soon.
Best regards!
Dr Eriol.
