What Causes Stiff Toes With A History Of Spinal Stenosis?

My toes are totally stiff except for the big one. I was once diagnosed with nueropathy, also have spinal stenosis and had foot surgery. Can this be the cause, also all the nueropathy symptons of burning, cramping etc. I don't know where to start. If it is from my back, can it improve is my back is taken care of. I am having a very walking and keeping my balance and I am very active. Thank you.
