General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your son's problem can be due to lower urinary tract infection or irritation from the concentration of urine due to dehydration. Better to have a urine routine examination to rule out infection.

Take more water. Taking barley water or cranberry juice is helpful. Potassium citrate syrup in water also gives relief. In case of infection antibiotic therapy will be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
