What Causes Stomach Ache Along With Vomiting?

I am waking up with stomach pain at night around 2am. It has been lasting for 3 hours. This is the fourth time in the last 6 months but increasing in frequency. The last time was last Tuesday. Vomited the last time. Haven t yet tonight. Any ideas?
