The commonest cause of pain in abdomen in small children after taking food is as follows: Appendicitis. Lymph node enlargement. Worm infestation. Diverticulitis or any inflammatory disease that can get reflex problems once the food reaches the stomach. I would advise you the following: Get a clinical evaluation and examination by a Pediatric Surgeon so that the probable cause can be found out and further investigations of stool, blood and urine along with high resolution endoscopy be done. Once the cause is found, treatment either medical and/or surgical be done to get the complete cure.
