What Causes Stomach Cramps After Taking Prometrium During Pregnancy?

I m 22 weeks pregnant. I had a us which showed a short cervical length from 3.5-3.7 last week to 2.5-2.7 this week. Dr prescribed prometrium 200 mg inserted vaginally at night. Prior pregnancy I had a cerclage done in 2008 at 14 weeks and was on terbutaline. I gave birth at 37 weeks. Since then I have had a mc with twins at 12 wks. I took the prometrium last night and feel slight cramping. Is this normal.?

Hi, cramps are not normal in your case. consult your gynaecologist and take rest and progesterones as you had history of cervical incompetence in the past and now short cervix take very much precaution. Avoid travel and weight lifiting, no intercourse.Take care all the best.
