What Causes Stomach Cramps, Vomiting After Drinking Wine And Having Food?

i just sent an enquiry...anyway here again: i had 2 NA beers and 2 reg over 3 hours and with chinese dinner in a new rest. now i have strong stomach cramps. my wife had 2 glasses wine and dinner at same rest....she is throwing up.....have we been poisoned? also, i have been on pennicillin 500 tabs for a tooth extraction

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Here you both have eaten outside foods ...
So yes it seems you have acute gastroenteritis secondary to food toxin..
It might be bacterial or parasitic infection...

Empirically ciprofloxacin 500 mg tablet BD can be given for five days ...
Drink lots of fluid to maintain hydration....
Avoid excess spicy foods ....
Non veg and heavy meal avoided ...
Small meal taken with frequent interval...
Rabez DSR also can be given for few days ...
Excess tea, coffe avoided ....

If still no improvement investigation needed with ....
-Stool examination
-USG
-CBC

If stool show ameba egg than metronidazole and if other parasitic egg than albendazole needed ..
