What Causes Stomach Cramps While On Clindamycin?

I was taking Clindamycin (please excuse if the spelling is wrong) for about 5 days in order to prevent an infection after having my wisdom teeth removed. After 3 days of taking it I began to develop stomach cramps that I can only describe as intense hunger pains without my stomach growling. I have been eating yogurt since the pain started and today decided to stop taking the antibiotic. For most of the day today I felt pretty good with only the occasional stomach pain, but after eating dinner tonight the pain started again and hasn't subsided. I just wondered if this is something to worry about? When can I expect this side effect to stop?

Clindamycin is an antibiotic and it produces nausea , vomiting , bloating ,abdominal discomfort beside other side effects .
You got these side effects and developed hyper acidity hence pain in abdomen.
This is not a cause of concern because after use of antibiotics , patients feel such type of symptoms .
So you will relief gradually without any medicine within 5-7 days .
But if symptoms are severe you may need drugs like pantoprazole-d , once or twice in day for 5-7 days .
