What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Tightness In Neck After Removal Of Wisdom Tooth?

Had my wisdom teeth removed, this is day three and I ve been taking 600mg ibuprofen & t3s ~ alternating every few hours. Today is day 3 after surgery and I am very sick feeling in my stomach, also having a lot of tightness in my neck, feeling tired and dizzy. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Can understand your concern..

As per your query the symptoms you have explained here happens as a part of incompatibility to heavy doses of medicines or are as a consequence of side effect of medicines..

Neck tightness occurs as due to continuous stiffening of muscles due to anxiety and discomfort which must have happened during the surgical procedure..

I would suggest you to see your dentist again so that he can either adjust the medicine doses again or can change the medicines..

For neck stiffness you can take a muscle relaxant like Flexon MR or Nucoxia MR (only if not allergic) which will relax your neck muscles.

For stomach upset taking empty stomach Pantoprazole in morning and once half an hour before meal at night can help in relieving stomach upset.

But consulting your dentist is must.
