What Causes Stomach Pain And Elevated Liver Enzymes?
My son has been to his dr several times for chest pain then it moved to his side when he ran or walked, now he is having pain when he bends over or pushes on his stomache. We know something is wrong his blood work shows his liver function is high and liver enzymes are high and a few smudge cells and low red blood and high white blood cells. could all this be from his gall bladder?

Your child liver enzymes value high.... This value high when enzymes released in blood after hepatocytes injury
I need to know sgpt, sgot value for giving more comment
For further investigation USG abdomen can be done here in your son
If sgpt, sgot more then two folds rise then detail further work up needed
And as smudge cells present, we have be alert and let me know you total wbc count and total lymphocytes count for giving more comment on that.... Smudge cell are seen usually in chronic lymphocytic leukemia but I don't think we can directly jump onto leukemia... Inform total wbc and lymphocytes count... And repeat CBC after week
Give him low fat diet
Fruits and green leafy vegetables taken more
Avoid alcohol if having habit
Take care
Consult physician for examination and further work up accordingly
