If you follow the jawbone up to where it seems to connect right behind/beneath the earlobe, I have had a sensation of strain there leading down my neck a bit on each side since I woke up on Saturday. I assumed that because I had run with a partner at 5:30pm in sweltering heat (~99 degrees) for about 3+ miles in Athens, GA, while chatting most of the time, that I must just have a sore jaw since I usually run alone and am quiet. Though I am in good health, (fit, active, strong, athletic frame), I also have had temper issues, frustration, and a sense of higher stress lately, as well as fits of insomnia where suddenly huge shots of cortisol just release into my bloodstream for no apparent reason. I d like to think I m fine, but perhaps something important is trying to get my attention?
