What Causes Sudden Change In The Vision?

my daughter is 11 years old. Her last eye exam was 3 years ago. She recently failed an eye exam at school and I took her to see the eye doctor and she got glasses. I watched the exam and was surprised that she struggled to see the very large letters. Is it common to have her vision change so much?

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is having refractive error.
It is common to have refractive errors in children that's why yearly examinations of eye are recommended.
She needs to wear the glasses regularly and attend the eye examination as refractive power changes rapidly in children.

Thank you
