What Causes Sudden Chest Pain With Dizziness And Low BP?

I went to the dr. and all of a sudden started having chest pains. I was told to sit down and I took a nitro and that helped but they had to help me into the examination room. There I became dizzy and sweaty and blood pressure was droping. the dr. told my husband I was crashing. What does that mean.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I don't know your age or your cardiac history but the blood pressure drop may have been from the nitroglycerine as that causes the blood vessels to dilate. The dropping blood pressure would have caused dizziness. By "crashing" the doctor may have meant the sudden drop in blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
