What Causes Sudden Gasping Of Air Causing Sleeplessness In An Infant?
My daughter one and half month used to gasp for ir with a slight sound like whistling just before a deep sleep which disturbs her sleep frequently. Will this means a problem in her nostrils or throat? She fought for sleep hardly and have a bad and troublesome sleep. Please help.
Unless there is obstruction of the upper respiratory tract via secretions or else, most common cause of sleeplessness is disturbances in accomodation with the surrounding most likely.
A detailed physical examination with pediatrician and following guidelines of burping after feeding, postural adjustments, room temperature, light intensity are basic issues to be discussed during doc visit.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wish your toddler best health.
