What Causes Sudden Headache, Vomiting, Blurred Vision And Hearing Loss?

I got a sudden headache yesterday evening with vomiting, Today the left side of my face is slightly swollan. I am having blurred vision and muffled hearing in my left eye and ear as well. The only thing that has seemed to help is holding prusser on my head. I am not congested and do not have a cold. I have tried taking Ibprofen with no help. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Though some your symptoms can be due to sinus congestion, any sudden decrease in hearing and any blurred vision, normally needs to be investigated as soon possible to rule out serious causes.

It is usually not due to a serious cause for most persons but this normally needs to be determined by examination and sometimes investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
