What Causes Sudden Increase In Belly Size With Weight Gain After The Abortion?
Hello, I had an abortion 6 days ago. I was 6 weeks pregnant. Abortion was done with tge pill. Not in office. I have cardiomyopathy and therefore cannot have anymore kids. My question: prior to the abortion, I had NO stomach. After the abortion and still I look asif I was 5 months pregnant. And suddenly my weight changed but not my diet. I gained 8lb in 8 days. However, my stomach, people keep asking me how far along I am and it is making me even more sad. Why do I suddenly have a big belly and will it go away? If so, than when? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Thank you very much.
Hello dear Understand your concern. sudden increase in belly size with weight gain is due to hormonal imbalance. First is your pregnancy: pregnancy cause increase in steroid hormones, anabolic hormone and progesterone that lead to cravings of food because baby also needs energy. Second abortion process also cause stress which further increase the steroidal hormone (cortisol)in your body that causes increase in body weight.I will go but take time. Take small frequent meal rather than large meal, avoid fatty and spicy food, start regular exercise in morning 45-6 minutes daily, avoid stress, stretching and abdominal exercise.
