What Causes Sudden Nausea And Vomiting?

My son experienced sudden agitation and nausea and vomiting 2 hours after taking generic Tamiflu. Is there anything else available for prevention. we were all given generic T amiflu when my husband was diagnosed with flu A. My husbands symptoms started Monday morning.

I being a doctor, we have come across many such adverse effects of Tamiflu. Especially the generic ones..
This is a well established side effect..

Headache
Nausea
Agitation
Vomiting
Sometimes fever..

All these are seen with Tablet Tamiflu..

I suggest you these things..

1. Do not worry, it is not something uncommon or fatal one.

2. Generally, it should self subside in a matter of time.

3. For these symptoms, 8 suggest not to avoid the tablet.

4. Various research going on to combat this side effect of Tamiflu..
