What Causes Sudden Sporadic Seizures Along With Headaches?

MY MOTHER HAD WHAT THEY CLLED A SEIZURE THIS MORNING LASTING 2 MINUTES, THEN ANOTHER ONE LASTING 1 MINUTES. SHE WA UNABLE TO TALK DURING THESE. THEY TOOK HER TO THE HOSPITAL, SHE WA COMPLAINING ABOUT HER FOREHEAD HURTING. THEY CT SCAN OF HER HEAD WITH NO BLOOD ON THE BRAIN OR TUMOR. ABOUT 3 HOURS LATER SHE HAD ANOTHER ONE BUT THIS TIME HER BODY STARTED TO CONTRACT- TOES, HANDS, LEGS AND TORSO. THEY GAVE HER ATIVAN TO STOP IT AFTER 5 MINUTES.

I had gone through the question and understand your concern.
See , what your mother had was "Generalized Tonic-Clonic" tyoe of seizure.
I is usually started with an aura , like headache. Also there is rigidity in various body muscles , because of which body starts to contract.
As far as treatment is concerned , anti-epileptic (like sodium valproate) is given.
