Hi,

Tonact 10 mg contains atorvastatin which belongs to the group of medications known as statins is used to lower cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart disease. Cholesterol is a fatty substance that builds up in the blood vessels and causes its narrowing. This may lead to a heart attack or stroke. Side effects of Tonact are nausea, vomiting, flatulence, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhoea, muscle pain, joint pain, back pain, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, tiredness, insomnia, chest pain, rash, peripheral edema, headache, sweating, feeling sick or illness, allergic reactions etc. These symptoms may disappear within about 3 weeks of discontinuing atorvastatin like Tonact. However, you should consult your doctor if you experience this side effect as it could be due to some other reasons.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
