What Causes Sweating, Tunnel Vision And Get Dizziness?

I have had random episodes of what seems to be hypoxia. Symptoms include sweating, tunnel vision, distant sounds around me, and get very close to fainting. It has happened about 4 times in a two year period. What does this sound like to you? What treatment or test would you recommend to diagnosis since it happens so randomly? charperrn@gmail 62 yrs old

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of sweating, tunnel vision and distant sounds is suggestive of some metabolic disorder rather than hypoxia.
Hypoglycemia or decreased levels of blood glucose can lead to similar symptoms.
Abnormality in levels of electrolytes e.g. sodium can also cause similar symptoms.
Thus, I suggest you to determine levels of blood glucose and electrolytes to rule out metabolic cause of these symptoms.
Consult your physician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care
