What Causes Swelling And Bruising On The Finger With Tingling Sensation?

I pinched the pad of my ring finger between two 10 lb weights last night. I have iced it twice now and have been applying lavender oil to ease swelling. Today it is quite bruised and slightly swollen. It does not necessarily hurt but it is a bit numb and kind of tingly feeling. Any chance of infection under the skin??

dear patient,I read your passage and I am doctor supposed to answer you..ok the bruising and swelling is just because of local reaction of hurt taking to your finger..if u don't have any pain or fever,just observe and wait.it will soon subside with time,don't tense yourself if it change colour,as it is a normal physiology.
