What Causes Swelling Below Surgical Incision Of Femoral Hernia?
I had a femoral hernia operation about 10 days ago, 2 days ago I noticed swelling just bellow my incusion. It looks like another hernia. I have no pain or discomfort in this area and do not have a fever. I live in Cambodia, where I received the opperation and am worried something went wrong during surgery. It is very hard to get info from the doctors here and I would like to know what would cause this swelling and is it normal.
Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com I have evaluated your query in details .
* Obviously this swelling is not normal .
* There could be hematoma or rarely recurrence of hernia .
* Needs clinical examination , but if can not consult doctor due to remote place , can take a photo pic of the swelling and send as an attachment in the follow up question .
Hope this will help you for sure . Wishing you fine recovery .
Welcome for any further guidance . Regards .
