What Causes Swelling In The Breast And Arm After A Mitral Valve Surgery?
I had mitral valve surgery in Oct 2016. The incision was under my right breast. Now I have swelling in my right breast and under my right arm. Also it feels like somethin is pulling or sticking under ans aroun my right breast. I m applying ice, Aspercream with Lidocaine and taking Alleve. My cardiologist says it will take time to heal but I m in some level of pain everyday. Sorry for misspellings.

Possible cellulitis from some sort of infection or lymphatic obstruction most likely.Detailed work up with physical examination, soft tissue ultrasound is mandatory to proceed ahead.
