What Causes Swelling In The Knee After A Total Hip Replacement Surgery?
I had a total hip replacement this past Wednesday. I am home beginning the healing process. I noticed that my knee had swollen, as I was told it would, however this evening it has doubled in the size of swelling and hurts pretty good ( an 8 on a scale of 1-10). Should I be concerned?

Swelling of the knee may not be associated with total hip replacement surgery.
I suggest you consult your orthopaedic on urgent basis for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
