What Causes Swelling In The Leg After Receiving A Cortisone Shot?

I had a corzone shot in my knee in April it stop working in the end of march now my ankle swell up my leg is hurting I don t want no more shots be why is my leg and ankle swelling I had a cortisone shot in my knee in April is stopped working in the end of March now my ankle swells up my leg is hurting I don t want no more shots but why is my leg and ankle swelling it feels like my whole body is swelling and hurting what should I do

The ankle swelling is not related to cortisone shot. As of now you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen for pain. Apply ice packs. If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedics and get evaluated.
